Tips to Keep Your Luggage Smelling Fresh When Traveling

Keeping clothes fresh while traveling in a luggage or suitcase may not be possible because we do not have facilities to clean and dry the clothes in destination places. If you keep clothes fresh while traveling, it will be great to you and others, who sit behind you while traveling, may get uncomfortable because of your smelly clothes.

Following are useful tips for keeping your luggage afresh when traveling:

  • Keep scented soaps wrapped in a thin layer of socks and place between the clothes of the suitcase. This scent smell will spread to the other clothes which will keep the luggage smelling good.
  • You can also keep dryer sheets between your clothes in the luggage which peel all the moisture and give a laundry smell.
  • Suppose you are not opened your luggage for a couple of days and the air inside the suitcase may smell bad because it will mix all the odors of the clothes present in it. When you opened or empty once the bag on your trip the fresh air will be occupied in the suitcase.
  • You can also spray a deodorant in the luggage bag to deodorize it.
  • You can also partition the smelly clothes by zip locking in the plastic sheets and keep separately with the clean clothes. Zip lock bags will lock the bad smell coming out.
  • Put your shoes in a thick towel to grime all the dust and suck the smell and then put it in a separate bag. This bag too prevents spreading of smell.
  • Use fresheners in the suitcase to smell your luggage fresh.
