Tips to Learn Spanish Vocabulary More Easily

Even though you are clear on every topic like the grammar, pronunciation, sentence formation etc., with out Spanish vocabulary you cannot do anything. Without knowing the proper word to use in that context you cannot form either a sentence or can use your grammar effectively. So, learning the vocabulary is important to speak or understand any language. Here are few tips to learn the Spanish vocabulary with greater ease.

  • In Spanish every noun do have a gender. It belongs to either masculine or feminine. So, depending upon the gender of that noun the articles are the verbs should be used while forming sentences. So, in order to use correct grammar you need to know the gender. So, along with the word you need to remember its gender.
  • Don’t get confused with the words from the other language, from which you are learning Spanish. For example, if you are learning English to Spanish, don't get confused with the similar words or assume that words which look similar mean the same.
  • Revision of the words which you have learned previously or the day before is important. For instance, if you are learning 10 Spanish words a day, recollect these words the next day when you have started learning.
  • If you have a couple of friends who are learning Spanish along with you, gather some more friends and form a team. Play some games using Spanish vocabulary like flash cards and cross words. So that you can remember them well.
  • While you get one word try to find the words which are related to it. Like for example, if you come across a particular flower's name, collect the names of all the flowers and learn them.
  • If you have learned few new words today, try to use them in context or while speaking. The situation in which you used those words make you remember those words for a long time.
These are few tips which could help you to learn Spanish vocabulary. However, without practice and revision of the older words we tend to forget the words quite easier. So, keep on practicing them.
