Republished version of Hitler's Autobiography

The Munich based contemporary history (IfZ) announced that Adolf Hitler's book “Mein Kampf” or “My Struggle” is to be republished in Germany in 2015. The “Mein Kampf” or “My Struggle” is a 700 page book written by Hitler. The book translated in English, Arabic, Russian and Japanese and it is widely available around the world but Bavaria banned its publication and sale in some countries.

The publication of this book has been banned in Germany since World War II because German law restricts the spread of Nazi philosophy. The IfZ wants the agreement of the finance ministry in Bavaria to start the republication of Hitler's Autobiography book but the finance ministry in Bavaria said it had still not decided whether to give its permission. The Munich based contemporary is planning to produce an annotated version of ‘Mein Kampf’.

Some German historians demanded publication of the book. The old copies of this book are tightly regulated, and the sale is essentially limited to research purposes. In the Third Reich, ‘Mein Kampf’ was the best seller than the Bible.
