A Simple American Wedding

Most wedding in the United States traditionally follow the white wedding type but customs and traditions vary due to the different religions but have some elements in common.

Before wedding, large number of invitations is sent to the guests from host’s side mentioning the importance of the occasion as well as giving importance to the guest. Then all the guests who receive invitation may or may not send gifts before the wedding day. But it is optional. After some days or before the wedding day decorations related to flowers, venues, bridesmaid’s dresses are done in matching colors.

On the wedding day, wedding ceremony may take place at church, register office or outdoors. Then, the groom first reaches the religious father on the wedding reception, then bride reaches the groom. From here wedding starts by reading common prayers by the brides religious practices. Then after agreeing all the words said by the religious fathers from both sides, groom wears a ring to the bride and can be announced as a wife and husband.

Then they participate in cutting cakes, entertainment, greeting and giving gifts.

Why Does the Bride Throw Bouquet at her Wedding?

On the wedding day, the bride holds flower bouquets in her hands walking down towards aisle for her wedding with everyone's eyes on her. These flower bouquets will relax the bride and distract her from the nervousness and make her feel comfortable. In recent years, holding flower bouquets has become a tradition in the U.S and U.K. And another traditional feature of this bouquet is that, bride throws flower bouquet over her shoulders towards her back in the reception and the unmarried women who are standing at the back of her will try to catch that bouquet. The woman who catches the bouquet is said to be the next one to get married. This means bouquet represents luck for unmarried women.

Actually, this custom originated in medieval Europe, a bride never expected to see her wedding dress again in those days because the dress was considered as a good luck for other women, a type of fertility charm. After the wedding, unmarried women chase the bride and ripped her dress into pieces and leaving her in tatters. As the years passed, dresses became more expensive and it became a tradition for women to keep them either as a memento or to pass on to a daughter for her wedding day. In order to distract the ripping of the dresses of the brides, other objects are began to be thrown. Among the objects, flower bouquet became the most traditionally thrown object. The wedding bouquet is particularly suited to this use, as flowers symbolize fertility, and as perishable items, they are not something the bride would wish to keep. The bouquet is also a safer item to throw.

Know about Neomercantilism

Neomercantilism is a term used to describe a political system that encourages exports and discourages imports, controls on capital flows and currency centralizes decisions in the hands of a central government. The objective of neo-mercantilist policies is to increase the level of foreign reserves held by the government, allowing more effective monetary policy and fiscal policy. It is generally believed to come at a price of the declining standard of living that would bring an open economy at the same time, but it offers the advantages for the government to have greater autonomy and control. China, Japan and Singapore are described as neo-mercantilist. It is called neo- due to the shift of mercantilism classic on military development, economic development, and its acceptance of a higher level of market price determination that the interior is true classic mercantilism.

Its policy recommendations sometimes echo the mercantilism of early modern times. These are generally protectionist measures in the form of high tariffs and other import restrictions to protect domestic industries combined with government intervention to promote industrial growth, especially in manufacturing. At its simplest level, it proposes that economic independence and self-sufficiency are legitimate objectives of a nation to pursue, and protective systems are justified in order to enable the country to develop its industrial and commercial infrastructure to the point where it can compete on an equal footing in international trade. In macroeconomic terms, it underlines a fixed currency and autonomy over monetary policy on the mobility of capital.

Republished version of Hitler's Autobiography

The Munich based contemporary history (IfZ) announced that Adolf Hitler's book “Mein Kampf” or “My Struggle” is to be republished in Germany in 2015. The “Mein Kampf” or “My Struggle” is a 700 page book written by Hitler. The book translated in English, Arabic, Russian and Japanese and it is widely available around the world but Bavaria banned its publication and sale in some countries.

The publication of this book has been banned in Germany since World War II because German law restricts the spread of Nazi philosophy. The IfZ wants the agreement of the finance ministry in Bavaria to start the republication of Hitler's Autobiography book but the finance ministry in Bavaria said it had still not decided whether to give its permission. The Munich based contemporary is planning to produce an annotated version of ‘Mein Kampf’.

Some German historians demanded publication of the book. The old copies of this book are tightly regulated, and the sale is essentially limited to research purposes. In the Third Reich, ‘Mein Kampf’ was the best seller than the Bible.

How Are Anabolic Steroids Abused?

Some anabolic steroids are taken orally, some are injected intramuscularly, and some are available in gels or creams, which are applied to the skin. Sometimes doses used by abusers may be 10 to 100 times more than the doses required for treating medical conditions.

Cycling, stacking, and pyramiding:
  • Cycling is a method of using multiple doses of steroids for a particular period of time and stopping for a specific period and starting again.
  • Stacking is a process of combining several different types of steroids by users. Steroid abusers frequently “stack” the drugs, which means that they use two or more different anabolic steroids, combining oral and injectable types, and sometimes even include substances, which are intended for veterinary use. Abusers feel that the different steroids will combine and generate an effect on muscle size, which is more than the effects of each drug independently, which is not true.
  • Pyramiding is a process in which users slowly increases the number of steroids or the dose and frequency of one or more steroids that is used only one time, and reaches a maximum amount at mid-cycle and gradually decreases the dose at the end of the cycle. Abusers think that pyramiding gives the body time to get adjusted to the high doses, and the drug-free cycle makes the body's hormonal system time to recover easily.
As with stacking, the recognized benefits of pyramiding and cycling are not supported scientifically.
